On February 1st, Blink Media GmbH had the opportunity to shoot one of the most talked-about moments in recent football history: the Adidas Saudi Arabia campaign around the Al Nassr vs Inter Miami match in Riyadh. It was one of those rare events where Messi and Ronaldo shared the pitch again, and we were right there to capture it.

Our goal? Create fast-turnaround, social-first content for Adidas that highlighted their presence and players throughout the event — blending sports, culture, and style into a striking visual campaign.


Creative Production in Saudi Arabia: A First for Us

This was our first time shooting in Saudi Arabia, and right from the start, it challenged our usual workflows. Public filming with professional cameras is heavily restricted, so for the jersey activation around Riyadh, we had to adapt quickly.

Instead of our usual high-end gear, we leaned into the iPhone as a primary shooting tool. From the bustling souks to quiet hidden corners of the city, we placed Inter Miami jerseys in unique cultural backdrops, mixing modern football with traditional Middle Eastern settings.

This approach forced us to stay nimble — and in the end, the visuals we captured were some of the most striking in the campaign. Flexibility was the creative unlock.


Game Day: Full Access, Full Send

Everything shifted once we entered the stadium for the Al Nassr vs Inter Miami game. With full access granted, we pulled out the pro gear and captured every moment on the pitch — the Adidas athletes like Messi, Jordi Alba, and Gregore, the energy in the stands, and the tension between two of football’s biggest legends: Messi and Ronaldo.

We followed the athletes through warm-ups, build-up moments, and game highlights. The result? A photo-driven recap video tailored for Instagram and TikTok — delivered with the speed social demands but the quality Adidas expects.
